I got a BSME from Cal Poly in 1989 and started windsurfing in SLO at that point. It was just after the foot straps came out and people were using glass boards. My first board, which is still in the garage, was a 9'-4" Randy French Seatrend custom glass board called the Rasta Board. I have had and broke many since then. I moved to Ventura in 1989.
